[Extended period] TOUN CARAVAN

This year we are experiencing an unprecedented heat wave. We have planned an event that will be just as exciting as this summer.
A pop-up by TOUN , a sneaker brand born in Nara, will be held for 10 days from next week's Mountain Day, August 11th (Friday) to August 20th (Sunday).
TOUN was born in the leather shoe production area of central Nara Prefecture.
Based on the concept of " New Nostalgic ," it was designed from the perspective of history, technology, and function, and it values the creators, thinkers, and shapers of Nara.
A local Nara design firm, a high quality leather shoe manufacturing technology with a history of over 70 years, and a graphic designer from Nara are involved to realize a collaborative project that goes beyond conventional wisdom.
We not only communicate with the local community, but also provide manufacturing as a new culture born from local research.

At this pop-up, you can see almost the full lineup of TOUN items.
`` Three '' is inspired by the bag that wraps the foot, which is the origin of footwear; `` Five '' is inspired by deck shoes, which are the origin of sneakers; and `` Seven '' is modeled after sports shoes that evolved into fashion. What all of the new One slip-on items have in common is a respect for the history of footwear.
In line with the brand's concept, the design has a nostalgic yet new feel.
In addition, we also have a new color, black, which was just released the other day. I'm sure many of you have been looking forward to the arrival of the black color, which is useful in every scene.

During the Obon period, our store will be open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, which are regular holidays.
