The annual year-end pop-up

I feel the bitter cold.

For about a month from December 1st (Thursday) to December 25th (Sunday) , a pop-up will be held again this year by NISHIGUCHI KUTSUSHITA, a company that has been making socks for over 70 years in Nara Prefecture, a major sock production region. To do.

This annual event is held around this time of year and is perfect for rewarding yourself for your hard work over the year, or as a gift for Christmas and New Year's holidays.

The brand's signature warm socks, made from wool, mohair, and cashmere, are lined up in Struct.

In addition, new socks with a presence that go well with boots, and seasonal limited colors with a story that the brand manager associates with the Australian landscape will also be introduced.

What is NISHIGUCHI KUTSUSHITA ?

A sock brand born in a Japanese factory that has been making socks since 1950 .

When creating shoes, we seriously consider the person who will wear them. The idea behind the words "Hakuhito Omoi" is the origin of sock making.

High-quality natural materials, knitting methods that utilize old and new machines, timeless designs, and prices.

Each piece of clothing is an answer that is tailored to the needs of the person who wears it.
Rather than just chasing trends, we continue to create classics that can be used for a long time.

Event item introduction

1. Mohair wool border socks

Border socks made from a brushed yarn blended with soft and fluffy kid mohair and wool that is less than a year old.

Thin yet warm socks made from a blend of soft, heat-retaining mohair and wool.

After the socks are knitted, both the front and back sides are brushed to give them a softer texture.

2. Wool jacquard socks

Jacquard socks made from shrink-resistant wool.

Tightly knitted from fluffy wool for a sturdy feel and warmth.

It does not shrink easily even after repeated washing, and can be used in heavy rotation even in the cold winter.

*2022 fall/winter limited color is “Classic Chocolate Milk”

3. Wool rib socks

Wool ribbed socks that are voluminous yet soft and lightweight.

We use a soft and light wool that is a blend of the Lincoln breed, which has a lustrous feel like mohair, the Polworth breed, which has a merino wool pedigree, and the comeback breed, which has a spongy bulge.

Although it is thick, it is light and has a very warm feel.

3. Cashmere ribbed socks

These ribbed socks are made using only ultra-fine cashmere from the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China, which is considered to be the best cashmere production area.

By spinning carefully selected cashmere into yarn at a spinning factory in Japan, it is soft, warm, moist, and extremely comfortable to wear.

*2022 fall/winter limited color is “Sunset Red”

4. Mohair wool pile socks

The brand delivers pile socks that can be used even in snowy countries.

We use brushed yarn that is a blend of soft kid mohair and wool that is less than one year old.

Thin yet warm socks made from a blend of soft, heat-retaining mohair and wool.

The leg warmers have pile knitting from the ankle down and double knitting from the ankle up, making them highly heat-retaining and designed for use in snowy regions.

*2022 fall/winter limited color is “Meat Pie”

5. Wool cotton boot socks

Thick, eco-friendly wool socks made from a blend of recycled wool, which is made from woolen clothing, and recycled cotton, which is made from virgin cotton leftover from the thread-making process.

These socks have the volume and durability typical of wool, and go well with boots for outdoor activities, camping, and trekking.

The reason why we hold the event around this time every year is because it is so easy to use in any situation.

It's an exquisite item that you can use as a gift for Christmas or the New Year without worrying the recipient too much, and can also be used as a treat for yourself or to prepare for the new year.

There's nothing wrong with having comfortable socks that are filled with ``hakuhitomomo''.
