Previously, we asked people to show proof of voting, such as a voting certificate or a photo taken at the polling station, but this time, there is no need for that. We will leave it up to your conscience.

What we can do now for the next generation.

"Only now, only money, only me" -- this trend spreading throughout society evokes a strong sense of crisis. This selfish atmosphere that prioritizes immediate profits, temporary pleasures, and personal convenience seems to be undermining the social rules and trust between people that we have cherished up until now.

However, simply lamenting the current situation will not change anything. That is why I want to demonstrate my will through my own actions. I need to broaden my perspective from "myself now" to the future of "someone who will live in the future." The most immediate and important action to do this is to "vote." This is nothing less than a declaration of will that, as a member of this society, I take responsibility for its future.

Our lives are a long-term endeavor that we inherit from the previous generation and pass on to the next. Aging population with a declining birthrate, climate change, and national fiscal problems—these issues are the result of our generation, including our own, continuing to put off addressing these issues.

British author Samuel Smiles once wrote in his book "Self-Help": "A country's politics are but a mirror that reflects its people. There can only be good politics for good people, and rotten politics for ignorant and corrupt people." If we feel dissatisfaction or anxiety about politics today, it may be that this is the result of the consciousness and attitude of each and every citizen being reflected in the mirror. When indifference and selfishness, thinking "as long as I'm fine," pervades the entire society, only politics that are commensurate with that will emerge.

I understand that some people say, "One vote won't change anything," but that's no reason for us to lose interest in society. If each of us gives up on participating, the chances of change will truly be zero.
