It's finally a comfortable season.

This year, we will be holding an order event for NGSM , a domestic leather shoe brand that combines the comfort of comfort shoes with the quality of high-end dress shoes , for two days on Saturday, October 25th and Sunday, October 26th .

NGSM shoes are designed by a designer with nearly 20 years of experience working for some of Japan's leading shoe material manufacturers and famous brands. While they have a traditional leather shoe design, they are also designed to be comfortable even when worn for long periods of time.

As with last year, we offer two styles: a short derby and a long boot, but this year we have made significant updates. While maintaining the comfort of the brand's distinctive oblique toe shoe last that takes advantage of the natural shape of the foot, we have completely revamped the materials, specifications, and soles. The shoes have evolved from their traditional dress shoe look to a more country shoe-like look .

For ideal aging

Until now, we have used calfskin (leather from calves under six months old) with dress shoes in mind, but this time we have chosen carefully selected vegetable-tanned leather from Ottocento in Italy. The company has been consistently using vegetable tanned leather since the 1970s and its leather is known for its consistent high quality.

The appeal of this leather is that it shows different expressions the more you wear it, allowing you to experience beautiful aging. We chose this leather in response to customer feedback that "I want to enjoy the process of the leather creasing and maturing even more."

Specifications that are perfect for your lifestyle

We have adopted a new "split welt" for the welt (thin leather) that connects the upper and sole.

This is a manufacturing method in which the welt is split in half to form a Y shape, and is a feature often seen in British outdoor-originated country shoes such as Tricker's, which acts as a "protective barrier" to prevent water from seeping into the inside of the shoe.

Compared to the previous flat welt, the sole has more volume, giving it a more robust and sturdy look. The slightly casual feel makes it suitable for everyday wear as well as modern business styles .

Ultimate lightweight and shock absorption

The soles have been changed from the conventional leather sole to "Vibram Vi-Lite" , making them even easier to wear.

This sole features ultimate lightness and excellent shock-absorbing cushioning , maximizing the burden on the body. It achieves the optimal balance of lightness and durability, and is extremely resistant to wear, making it ideal for standing jobs and long walks. Furthermore, the thickness of this material is used to further emphasize the volume of the new shoes.

Event-exclusive struct special orders

Exclusive to this event, we also have a special struct model available.

This special edition model is thoroughly focused on everyday walking . The shoelaces are made of extremely durable, slightly voluminous waxed laces, and the metal fittings through which the laces are threaded are exposed on the surface, giving the entire shoe a more active, work-like look.

The sole is made by US Vibram, which also exudes a workwear vibe. It offers an excellent balance of durability, cushioning, and weight, with particularly strong grip and shock absorption, providing comfortable support even for long walks. Furthermore, the one-piece construction without a heel makes it feel as light and comfortable as a sneaker.

Although they are leather shoes, they are a special pair that pursues comfort and durability, with the pride of a sneaker brand .
