Announcement of election discount
The House of Representatives election has been announced, and the election campaign has begun leading up to the voting day on October 27th .
From Monday, October 21st to Monday, November 4th (national holiday), our store will be offering an "election discount" in which anyone who votes will receive a 5 % discount code.
Until last time, you were required to show proof of your vote, such as a voting certificate or a photograph taken at the polling station, but this time, this will not be required. We will leave it up to your conscience.

Aiming for a healthy society
Our store has previously offered discounts at every election with the aim of increasing voter turnout. We will also be offering discounts to those who voted in this upcoming House of Representatives election.
Every time there is an election, the low voter turnout, especially among young people, becomes a hot topic. One of the reasons people often give for not voting is the feeling of resignation that "voting won't change anything."
It is true that no matter who becomes a politician, life may not change drastically right away. Many people may feel that their daily lives will continue as they have always done: working, getting tired, sleeping, and waking up again.
I don't vote because I have any expectations. I don't vote because I want to change something, but because I want to live freely. I want to live according to my own will, rather than living a restricted life that is at the mercy of others. Because ultimately, it is I who bears the consequences of my choices.
I am satisfied with my current life to a certain extent. I can eat every day, sleep in a warm futon, and enjoy my hobbies on my days off. Although I am not completely satisfied, I am grateful for the freedom I have. However, I feel that there are still many problems in society that need to be solved.
Something may or may not change as a result of this election. Still, I believe that having more opinions reflected will be a step towards a "healthy society." I think it is more important than anything else for each individual to be actively involved in society. I hope that through this initiative, we can raise interest in elections, even if only a little.
