2 Register Chrono Series III

The third series of " 2 -register chronographs" equipped with the Seiko mechanical quartz movement VK64 , Series III , has been released. This series is a new version of the popular Series I , which sells out immediately after arrival, and is attracting a lot of attention.

The design is inspired by the legendary hand-wound chronograph nicknamed Paul Newman, and is a faithful reproduction of the third- generation model from the 1970s . The watch uses screw-down pushers and was water resistant to 50m , which was revolutionary at the time, and the charm of this practical chronograph has been revived using modern technology.

The background to the commercialization of the Series III was the numerous requests from users who had purchased the previous model to release a metal bezel version, and in response to these requests, a metal bezel version was added to the lineup. Furthermore, the metal version was newly developed, taking into account that the previous model was sold in both black and metal bezel versions.

The basic dial design follows the previous model, but a red print called "Akamaki" is used on the outer circumference of the dial. This vivid accent is different from the conventional black or white scale, and it perfectly combines a vintage feel with a modern taste. In addition to the "reverse panda" type with a black background and white sub-dial that was in the previous model, a "panda" type with a white background and black sub-dial has been added this time, creating a collection that meets a wider variety of tastes.
