The design is inspired by the ``enveloping'' shoe, which can be said to be the origin of footwear, and creates a soft feel and a distinctive shape. The simple structure of a single piece of leather with notches provides the softest comfort among all TOUN products.

Softness comes from unlining

Unlining means that there is no liner. Normally, leather shoes are made of two layers of leather, the front leather and the lining leather, but TOUN uses one layer of front leather and minimizes the lining leather, making it soft on the foot. The leather stretches more easily than the double layered structure on the front and back, creating a feeling of being stuck to the shoe.

Cup insoles keep you from getting stuffy and tired.

Cup insoles are insoles in which the edges around the heel are curved like a cup. The surface of TOUN's insole is made of pigskin leather as it is the part that touches the foot. Pig leather is a lightweight material with excellent breathability and moisture absorption, so it won't get stuffy even in the summer, so you can wear it cleanly.

The pigskin base uses a sponge material with elasticity, so it absorbs the hardness of asphalt and doesn't feel like it's pushing up. While it disperses the load on the soles of your feet, it doesn't get too squishy, so it feels stable and reduces fatigue.

The hold is due to the tight wooden shape.

A last is a model that determines the shape of a shoe. Based on ergonomics, we have created an original wooden shape that will not cause fatigue even when worn continuously. This is a wooden pattern that emphasizes ``securely stopping the foot with the instep,'' which is important in fitting.
