The classic model "Mikey" has been updated to McKay specifications. The design remains the same, but the sole, which is at risk of breaking in regular Mikeys, can be easily replaced. As long as the "Inaka" part where the McKay (stitching) is applied remains, it can be replaced. This is a calm model with a leather shoe-like welt on the sole unit and a welt piece.

How to get the right size
Blueover is designed with a loose forefoot. When wearing the shoes, make sure your heel is perfectly aligned and tie the laces tightly (to secure the instep). If you wear the shoes loosely, your feet will move around inside the shoes, resulting in an incorrect fit and making you more tired.

When choosing your shoe size, we recommend comparing your foot size. Measure your foot size from the tip of your longest toe to the back of your heel while standing.

Simple and complete design

Mikey, a classic blue overcoat model that has been around since the beginning of the brand, has a last (foot shape) designed from scratch to fit Japanese feet, and a sole that is not too soft for walking. While the design has been stripped down, it has elements of a sneaker, resulting in a sneaker with an unusual appearance.

Sneakers created in cooperation with shoe-making regions in Japan

The leather, shoelaces, insoles, and soles used. and sewing, processing, and shoemaking. Blueover carries out all material sourcing, processing, and production domestically wherever possible. This is because we believe that it is necessary to continue the manufacturing and shoe manufacturing industry. McKay sneakers with repeatable sole replacement

The sole is made by gluing an EVA-treated sole unit to an inaka stitched together using the McKay method. The sole edge is welted, giving it the appearance of leather shoes.

Super thick floor velor material that will surprise even leather professionals

The floor velor used for the classic Mikey's upper is made of rare velor material over 2mm thick. Due to its thickness, which even expert leather wholesalers are surprised by, there is no need for reinforcement such as lining, which is normally required, and it is flexible and strong. The velor material is easy to maintain and can be worn and grown for a long time.

Relaxed foot feel

The curve of the toe when viewed from above is a moderately relaxed curve, and the cross section of the forefoot is designed to be roomy. We try not to make you feel uncomfortable when you put your feet in. Designed to prevent looseness around the instep, ankle, and heel.
