Sale price¥22,880

A deep orange with a high saturation but low brightness. It is a color that is often used as an accent when paired with dark denim.

The upper pattern is made of a single piece of seamless leather that will fit your feet over time. Like leather shoes, the more you wear them, the more they will conform to the shape of your feet. The minimalist look makes them easy to match with any outfit, and they also make a great accent piece.

ABOUT " Mikey Orange "

Simple and complete design

Mikey, a classic blue overcoat model that has been around since the beginning of the brand, has a last (foot shape) designed from scratch to fit Japanese feet, and a sole that is not too soft for walking. While the design has been stripped down, it has elements of a sneaker, resulting in a sneaker with an unusual appearance.

Sneakers created in cooperation with shoe-making regions in Japan

The leather, shoelaces, insoles, and soles used. and sewing, processing, and shoemaking. Blueover carries out all material sourcing, processing, and production domestically wherever possible. This is because we believe that it is necessary to continue the manufacturing and shoe manufacturing industry. Although the scale is small, we would like to continue the cycle of continuous shoe making together with local makers.

Super thick floor velor material that will surprise even leather professionals

The floor velor used for the classic Mikey's upper is made of rare velor material over 2mm thick. Due to its thickness, which even expert leather wholesalers are surprised by, there is no need for reinforcement such as lining, which is normally required, and it is flexible and strong. The velor material is easy to maintain and can be worn and grown for a long time.
*The image above is common velor. The floor velour, the leather underneath is used for Mikey.

Relaxed foot feel

The curve of the toe when viewed from above is a moderately relaxed curve, and the cross section of the forefoot is designed to be roomy. We try not to make you feel uncomfortable when you put your feet in. Designed to prevent looseness around the instep, ankle, and heel. When worn, the last is tight at the instep and heel, and loose at the toes. This is an original last that the brand is proud of, created through repeated trials with last craftsmen.

One-of-a-kind soles with a focus on walking around town

Mikey's sole uses a sole called a processed sole. The midsole is made of lightweight, cushioned EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) that does not undergo hydrolysis, and the rubber outsole is bonded to the midsole. This processed sole is made using a manufacturing method that is said to have originated in the 1970s when running shoes began to become popular. It is made by cutting sliced EVA with a cutting die, pasting it with rubber, and polishing the sides with stones. You can adjust the comfort by adjusting the hardness. This sole is designed for walking, and is characterized by being slightly harder than regular running shoes. At the processed sole factory in Kobe, each item is still produced by hand.
